Bacon- strips of smoked pork belly
Cottage Bacon – very lean, excellent sandwich meat, use for BLT or on burgers
Brats – all meat, mild flavor, BBQ or pan fry MSG-Free
Cured Ham Cubes – 3/4" chunks, great for soups, casseroles, scrambled eggs, salads
Cured Ham Roasts – center cut ham, excellent for Sunday meals or slicing for sandwiches. Don’t overcook cured products.
Cured Ham Steaks – pan fry or oven bake, just heat and eat
Fresh Ham Steaks – not cured, excellent on the BBQ or pan fry. Cooks fast
Iowa Chops– BBQ, oven bake, stuff, crock pot
Tenderloins– sandwich style. Grill or bread by pressing w/ rolling pin, dip in egg then crushed crackers, pan fry.
Loin Roasts- use meat thermometer, cook to 140 degrees, wrap in foil- turn of heat- let set 20 min. - meat will continue to cook to your desired temperature
Shoulder Roasts - oven bake, crock pot, great pulled-pork sandwiches
Stir Fry – pieces of meat the size of your finger, brown and add your favorite vegetables, or crock pot with chicken broth - yum
Ground Pork – meatloaf, casseroles, burgers, spaghetti
Pork Patties – 1/3 lb patties unseasoned, excellent BBQ
Bacon Burgers- 1/3 lb patties with ground bacon added in.
Brat Patties- 1/3 lb of our whole hog brats formed into patties.
Sausages – Flavors : Regular Breakfast, Hot Italian, Sweet Italian
- bulk, brown and add to eggs or add to meatloaf for extra
- links, not in a casing, not smoked, pan fry great for
Polish Sausage– pan fry or BBQ, cured product don’t over cook, wait till it plumps – a few minutes more – done
Hot Dogs – all meat, not junk, good boiled or BBQ . Don’t over cook. The kids are asking their parents for these.
Italian Sticks – thaw and eat, mild seasoning, 100% pork. Keep refrigerated after thawing.
